Anthony Hope

Anthony Hope is professor of automation and control at Southampton Solent University, UK. His major scientific interests include condition monitoring of machines, performance verification of machine tools and coordinate measuring machines, instrumentation and control, and materials testing. He is the co-author of one textbook, Engineering Measurements, and has contributed to two further textbooks. He has published well over 100 scientific papers and was awarded the British Institute of NDT prize for Condition Monitoring research in 2008.
