Micha Tomkiewicz

Micha Tomkiewicz, Ph.D., is a professor of physics in the Department of Physics, Brooklyn College, the City University of New York. He is also a professor of physics and chemistry in the School for Graduate Studies of the City University of New York. In addition, he is the director of the Environmental Studies Program at Brooklyn College as well as director of the Electrochemistry Institute at that same institution. He has served as the divisional editor for the Journal of the Electrochemical Society and as chairman for the Energy and Technology Division of the Electrochemical Society. He has been a member of the International Organizing Committee of the conferences on Photochemical Conversion and Storage of Solar Energy, held from 1989 to 1992. Dr. Tomkiewicz earned his Ph.D. and his M.Sc. in physical chemistry from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
